The Council Of Prefects For The 2014/2015 Academic Session

The new set of Prefects for the 2014/15 academic session have been decorated with their badges.

The Prefects, who were decorated on Friday 14th November, 2014, were told by the Principal, Alhaji Aderemi Adedigba, to do their work without fear or favour.

He assured them of the cooperation of the teachers, the Vice Principals and himself in their daily endeavours.

This is wishing the new Prefects the best of luck.

Mrs. Akinfolarin Is Transferred


Mrs. Akinfolarin 
One of the most senior members of staff of the school, Mrs. Akinfolarin, has been transferred to a school in Lagos Island.

Mrs. Akinfolarin, a Deputy Director of Education, was recently redeployed to Dolphin Junior High School, Lagos.

She taught Islamic Religious Studies in the school before her transfer.

She is an accomplished leader, a seasoned administrator and member of the management staff of the school, competent head of department, master social organizer and a mother figure to both her colleagues and the students in general.

Mrs. Akinfolarin will be greatly missed in the school.


The management, staff and students wish Mrs. Akinfolarin a happy and fruitful stay in her new school.

Winner 2014 Governor's Award

The school's excellent performances have been finally recognised by the Lagos State Government through its agency, Eko Project.

The school was among the schools that won the 2014 Governor's Award.

Mr. H.N. Tukuru- The Mahematics Teacher

Mr. H. N. Tukuru, a Mathematics teacher who was transferred to the school from Eko Akete Senior Secondary School,Lagos Island, has been teaching Mathematics in the school for sometime now and his efforts are really commendable.

He is loved by both his colleagues and the students.

Mr. Amodu Has Been Transferred

The Vice Principal (Administration) of the school, Mr. Amodu, has been transferred from the school.

Mr. Amodu is now with Dolphin Junior High School,Lagos Island, as a Vice Principal.

During his stay in the school Mr. Amodu displayed his administrative dexterity and acumen.

On many occasions he has shown the ability to move the school forward and keep the staff together as an administrator.

We will surely miss this superb administrator.

The management, staff and the entire students of the school are wishing Mr. Amodu well in his new assignment.

A Deserving Valedictory Service For The Out-Going Basic 9 Students

On Wednesday 25th June, 2014 a  raining day that witnessed a total flooding of the school compound
was the day the out-going Basic 9 students had their deserving Valedictory Service.

The date had earlier been fixed before the students finished their final examination.

It was a memorable day by all standard of measurement.

Messrs Hassan And Ogunkayode Are Promoted To Vice Principals

The Principal,Alhaji A.A.Adedigba and the entire management of the school is pleased
announce the recent promotion of the Fine Arts teacher, Mr. Ogunkayode and Mr. S.O.
Hassan, the P.H.E. teacher to Vice Principals and their consequent  transfer to their
different schools to resume duties.

Mr. Ogunkayode has been redeployed to Ireti Junior Grammar School,Ikoyi while Mr.
Hassan was sent to Dolphin Junior High School in Lagos Island.

We are sad you are leaving us,but we are also proud that you served the school dedicated
and with all your mights in the different positions you were made to serve.

We are also confident that you are taking away this dedication and diligence to your new
places of work.

The link you have had with the school and the things you were able to contribute to the
growth and development of the school can not be forgotten.We are hoping that you shall
do the same in the new schools you are going.

Adieu Mrs. Monsurat Olubode

On Thursday 20th Febraury 2014, a day after the send-forth ceremony for the former principal of the school, Mr. A.A.Akinlotan, death struck in the compound.

Mrs. Olubode Monsurat, the Home Economics teacher, gave up the ghost during childbirth at Onikan Health Centre,Lagos.

She successfully delivered a baby boy who is still alive but lost the battle to stay alive and take care of the new born.

Here is the picture taken at her burial which took at the Okesuna Cementary on Lagos Island on Friday 21st February,2014 .

We all pray that her soul should rest in peace.

May God Almighty take care of the children (she had another child before the new born) she left behind.

A Deserved Send-Forth For Mr.Akinlota

On Wednesday February 19th 2014, the former Principal of the school,Mr. A.A.Akinlotan,was formally send-forth from the school in a grand style that befitted his status has someone who had worked conscientiously, assiduously and tirelessly for the development of the school.

Mr. Akinlotan,is currently the Principal of Wahab  Folawiyo Senior High School, Osborne Road, Ikoyi
