Alhaji Adedigba, Aderemi Akinade became the principal of the school in February 2013 upon his promotion to the principal cadre.

A Deputy Director of Education who was a former Vice Principal at Wahab Folawiyo Memorial Senior Secondary School, Osborne Road,Ikoyi arrived at the school as a result of the transfer of Mr. Akinlotan the immediate past Principal to Wahab Folawiyo Senior Secondary School,Osborne Road,Ikoyi.

The arrival of Alhaji Adedigba has witnessed a lot of changes in the school prominent of which is the renovation of the Staff-room, office of the Vice Principals, The Principal's Office and the classrooms.

MISS. ZURIEL NENA OJOI - THE NYSC MEMBER IN THE SCHOOL

The NYSC sent Miss Zuriel Nena Ojoi, an International Relations graduate of the Hondegbe North American University, Benin Republic to the school fo the 2013/14 academic session.

Miss.Nena (as she is fondly called by her
admirers),was born at Opebi in Lagos,but comes from Cross River State.She likes reading, writing,meeting people,swimming and learning new things.

When asked what her personal life philosophy was,Miss Zuriel Nena  Ojoi answered thus:"Putting God first and aspiring to be the best I can be every new day."
Miss. Ojoi has been relating well with the young children that are put in her care since her arrival in the school.

Alhaji Adedigba has come a long way in the teaching profession.He had taught in schools like Ilado Community High School, the defunct Aunty Ayo's Girls High School, Obalende before he became the Vice Principal of Wahab Folawiyo Senior at Osborne Road, Ikoyi in 2008.Having served as a Vice Principal for about five years, he became the school's Principal in February 2013.

                             VICE PRINCIPAL (Administration): Mr. Waheed Babatunde Amodu
Mr. Amodu was transferred to the school from Government Junior College,Victoria Island where he served as a Vice Principal.An astute administrator of many years experience.He was a teacher at Okesuna High School before he was sent to Government College, Victoria Island before the separation of schools to senior and junior schools.He then became the Pioneer Vice Principal of Government Junior College, Victoria Island.

                                 VICE PRINCIPAL (Academic) Mr. Francis Omoh Ojiemeke 

An experienced teacher who became a Vice Principal in 2013.He had taught at Falomo High School before he was transferred to Girls Senior Secondary Graammar School, Obalende where he became a Vice Principal and transferred to the school where he has been distinguishing himself as a manager of distinction. 

Sporting Activities In The School

Although athletes have been representing the school at the Inter-House sports competitions of other schools where they were able to win laurels, the school did not hold any Inter-House sport competition of its own until Monday 12th December, 2005.

The first ever Inter-House sports Competition of the school, which was mostly sponsored by Mr.E.A.Odunusi (the Principal's husband) was held on December 12, 2005 under the distinguished  Chairmanship of Mrs. Sekinat Yusuf of the Lagos State University, Ikoyi Campus.

On that occasion the Blue House came first.The second position  was won by Yellow House.Green House was third, while the Red House was in the last position. The school's Sports Master was Mr. O.S.Famodu.

On Tuesday 24th February,2004, the first set of Prefects for Falomo Junior High School, Ikoyi, were decorated with their badges at a special assembly in the school.

On Wednesday 29th October, 2008 The Pioneer Principal of the school, Mrs. Odunusi, Philomena Efunwunmi was reployed to Akande Dahunsi Junior Memeorial Grammar School, Osborne Road, Ikoyi.

Mr. Akinlotan, Anthony Ade, who was formerly at Akande Dahunsi Junior  Memorial Grammar School, Osborne Road, Ikoyi replaced her.

On 25th February, 2013 Mr. Akinlotan, A.A. was transferred to Wahab Folawiyo Senior High School, Osborne Road, Ikoyi as their new principal.He was replaced by Alhaji Adedigba, Aderemi Akinade, former Vice Principal (Administration) of Wahab Folawiyo Senior High School, Osborne Road, Ikoyi.

Short History Of The School

Falomo High School, S.W.Ikoyi was founded in September 1981 by the Lagos State Government under the then Governor, Alhaji Lateef Jakande.

The school was first named Ireti Grammar School 2,but later changed to Ikoyi High School in September 1982.

The school's PTA chose a new name for the school as Falomo High School,S.W.Ikoyi,Lagos.

The first Principal was Mrs. A.M.Amene.She started work with only six (6) teachers.

The first ever Head Boy was Adeleke Adisa and the Head Girl was Monica Oamen.

In June 1986, 26 students were presented for the WASCE as the  first set to pass out of the school.

In 2002 the Lagos State government decided to break every school into the Junior and Senior schools with effect from January 2003. That was how the Falomo Junior High School, Ikoyi was established
by the government.

Mrs. Odunusi, P.E., the former Vice Principal (Administration) of  Aunty Ayo's Girls' Comprehensive Secondary School,S.W.Ikoyi, became the pioneer Principal of the Junior school with effect from
December 23,2002.

Arrival Of A Vice Principal In The School

On 3rd May, 2003, a Vice Principal, Mr. J.R. Elemi, was sent to the school. Mr. E|lemi was formerly a Vice Principal at Government Senior College Maroko, Osborne Road,Ikoyi.

Welcome To The 2013/14 Academic Year

On Monday September 23,2013 the school resumed for the 2013/14 Academic session like all other public schools in Lagos state.

The Principal, Alhaji Aderemi Adedigba, welcomed the students and the entire members of staff to the school.

He also advised that everybody should brace themselves up for the new challenge this session as the school is poised to do a lot to achieve the best it always deserves.

The Basic 9 students were specially advised to emulate their predecessors who made 100% success results in their final examinations in the 2012/13 session.
